Update at 10:28 a.m. Jan. 2: Hawaiʻi Island police report that 45-year-old Angelo Buswell of Kailua-Kona, who was previously reported missing, was found in Kona today, in good health.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man from Kailua-Kona who is considered endangered.

Angelo Buswell, 45, was last seen on New Year’s Day at noon on the 76-6100 block of Pakalana Road in Kailua-Kona wearing a baseball cap with an Eagles insignia, an Eagles jersey, and blue and black board shorts. According to police, he may be in need of medication.

Buswell is Hispanic with a medium build and a tan complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 185 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos, including a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Hailey” and a tribal design around his right upper arm.
