Ormat Technologies Inc. and Puna Geothermal Venture invite residents and stakeholders to join the final quarterly community meeting of the year.

Quarterly meetings are designed for community members to share their thoughts, ask questions and learn about geothermal energy’s role in Hawai‘i’s clean energy future.

This is a public forum, where that feedback helps shape how to forward together.

“Community engagement is not just part of our process — it’s the heart of it,” said Senior Director of Hawai‘i Affairs at Ormat Technologies Mike Kaleikini in an announcement about the upcoming meeting. “We want to hear from you. These conversations help us understand what matters most to our neighbors as we work toward a sustainable future.”

Puna Geothermal will provide updates about current plant operations, including improvements and progress on the Repower Project.

Future plans and initiatives aimed at supporting Hawai‘i’s clean energy goals also will be shared, and a dedicated question-and-answer session will allow attendees to speak directly with Puna Geothermal leadership.
