The Department of Water Supply customers along ʻĀinako Avenue, between Pōhaku and Kōula streets, may experience changes to their water on Wednesday night.

The Department of Water Supply will conduct a fire hydrant flow test along ʻĀinako Avenue for E.B. deSilva Elementary School from 10 to 11 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 12, which may cause customers in affected areas to experience discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.

Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for drinking needs until the supply is restored to normal.

For any unusual problems during or after the flushing period, call District Supervisor Earl Yoshioka at 808-961-8790. More information is available on the department’s website.
