Gilbert Carvalho Park in Hilo to close for termite fumigation of gym

Gilbert Carvalho Park in Hilo will be closed Oct. 23-24 for termite fumigation of the gymnasium.
The park is located at 850 Waiānuenue Ave. and includes Pi‘ihonua Gymnasium.
Hawai‘i County Parks and Recreation says the park and gym are scheduled to reopen Oct. 25. Regular park hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
