The public is invited to a free keiki identification event from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at Hilo Public Library.

Hawai‘i Police Department Hilo Community Policing Section is hosting the event, which provides parents and guardians with the opportunity to obtain ID cards for their children.
