Update 6:28 a.m. Sept. 1, 2025: Missing 73-year-old Susan Damo has been located.

Damo was located in Puna and is reported to be in good health, according to a press release by the Hawai’i Police Department.

Officials thank the public for their help in this case.

Original Post: The Hawaiʻi Police Department is seeking help in locating a missing and endangered woman, 73-year-old Susan Damo, last seen in Orchidland Estates.

Damo is described as Hawaiian with brown hair and brown eyes. Her height was reported as 5 feet 9 inches, and her weight is 145 pounds.

According to police, she was last seen on 37th Avenue in Orchidland Estates in Keaʻau at 6:20 p.m. Sunday.

Damo was last seen wearing a long-sleeved brown-and-black shirt and black pants. She may require medical attention.
