Update: Hawaiʻi police have located man missing since Sunday afternoon

Update at 4:17 p.m. Aug. 25: The Hawaiʻi Police Department reports that missing person, Eugene Costa, has been located in Hilo in good health on Monday, Aug. 25.

Original story at 1 a.m. Aug. 25: Police are searching for Eugene Costa, 47, who is missing and considered endangered, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department.

Eugene Costa

Costa is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, and a graying mustache. He was last seen at a residence on Henele Road in Mountain View at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24.

If anyone has information that can assist in safely locating Costa, call 911 or the police non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
