Update: Police report 15-year-old Hilo runaway was found last week

Update at 10:45 a.m. Monday: Hawai‘i Island police report that 15-year-old Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Hilo on Thursday July 10, in good health.

Original story at 12:35 p.m. July 3: Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public for help with finding a Hilo teen who was reported twice as a runaway since late May and has now been missing again since June 20.

Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues

Authorities report 15-year-old Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues of Hilo — along with his 13-year-old brother Chazin Nasario-Rodrigues — was initially reported as a runaway May 27.

Chazin Nasario-Rodrigues was located a few days later in Hilo in good health. Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues was located June 19 in good health, but subsequently ran away again shortly before 10 p.m. June 20.

The 15-year-old was last seen in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo.

Shadden Nasario-Rodrigues is local, about 5-foot-5, 120 pounds, with a medium complexion, short black hair and brown eyes. He has scars on his right collarbone and above his left eyebrow.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
