Person of interest sought in ongoing Hilo assault investigation
Hawai‘i Island police are asking the public for help with identifying a person of interest in an ongoing assault investigation connected with an April 27 incident in Hilo.

An image of the suspect was captured in surveillance footage from a business in the 100 block of Pūʻainakō Street.
The man is white, in his 20s to 30s, about 6 foot tall, with short blond hair and possibly unshaven.
