Hawaiʻi County Department of Environmental Management notifies the public that all county transfer stations will maintain regular hours of operation Friday, July 4.

However, scrap metal and appliance recycling services will not be available on the holiday. The contracted vendor will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

Those services will resume normal operations July 5.

Contact the Department of Environmental Management via email at cohdem@hawaiicounty.gov or by calling 808-961-8800 for additional information about transfer station operations.
