Mobile vendors sought to offer concessions at various Hawaiʻi County parks

Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation invites operators of mobile vending stands to submit bids for lease concessions to set up at various county parks.

Mobile vendors can submit applications for lease concessions to operate at:

HILO

  • Onekahakaha Beach Park.
  • Pana‘ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens.
  • Reed’s Bay Beach Park.

PUNA

  • Cooper Center, Volcano.
  • Isaac Kepo‘okalani Hale Beach Park, Pohoiki.

KONA

  • Old Kona Airport State Recreation Area, Kailua-Kona.

Prospective bidders must file a notice of intent to bid on or before 2 p.m. May 15 to the county finance director on a form provided by the director, through Public Purchase, an e-procurement system.

Questions about the invitation for bids also must be submitted through public purchase.

Sealed tenders will be received electronically and publicly opened at 2 p.m. May 30 in the Hawai‘i County Department of Finance Office of the Purchasing Division, located at 25 Aupuni St.
