Police search for Ocean View man considered armed and dangerous
Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for 29-year-old Andrew Amon of Ocean View, who is wanted for four outstanding warrants for his arrest and for questioning in regards to several criminal investigations that have occurred in the Hawaiʻi Ocean View Estates subdivision.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Amon; however, they caution the public not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous and to immediately contact police if he is seen.
Amon is known to frequent the Ocean View Estates subdivision and is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
The Hawai‘i Police Department reminds the public that anyone harboring or concealing a wanted person could face criminal charges.
