Early this morning, FBI agents conducted search warrants at two different locations in Kailua-Kona.

It is unknown what the warrants were for or if any arrests were made.

Hawai‘i Island Police Chief Ben Moszkowicz confirmed the federal agency contacted the department a couple of days ago to inform them they would be in the area “as a courtesy” which is common.
