The monthly test of the all-hazard Statewide Outdoor Warning Siren System is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. April 1.

During the test, all statewide warning sirens will sound a one-minute tone. A test of the live audio broadcast segment of the Emergency Alert System will be conducted at roughly the same time in cooperation with the Hawai‘i broadcast industry.

There will be no exercise or drill accompanying the tests.

The public can contact Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense at 808-935-0031 to report siren operation issues.
