The Hawai‘i County Department of Public Works will host an informational community meeting to discuss an upcoming rehabilitation project for Lanikaula Street in Hilo.
The meeting is planned for 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 19 at the Aupuni Conference Center, located at 101 Pauahi St. in Hilo.
The project will include roadway asphalt concrete repaving, shoulder construction, concrete curbs, pavement striping, markings, street signs and the addition of bike lanes on both sides of Lanikaula Street between Manono Street and Kīlauea Avenue.
