The Hawai‘i Police Department reports Queen Ka‘ahumanu Highway is closed in both directions in North Kona District between the 86 and 87 Mile Markers due to a vehicle collision.
Motorists should avoid the area and use alternate routes for the next hour, until the road is reopened.
