Update at 6:25 p.m. Jan. 11: Big Island police report that Ohuohu Street in Hilo is now open between Maka‘ala Street and Puainako Street.
Original post: Ohuohu Street in Hilo by Prince Kūhiō Plaza is closed between Puainako and Maka‘ala Streets because of a traffic accident. Use alternate routes.
