Update at 3:36 p.m. Dec. 29: Thane Leialoha Jr., a 17-year-old who was previously reported as missing, was located in Hilo in good health Friday. 

Original post: Big Island police are asking anyone has seen a teen who went missing Thursday afternoon.

According to the Hawai‘i Police Department, 17-year-old Thane Leialoha Jr. was last seen at 5:45 p.m. on Rainbow Drive in Hilo. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.

No photo or further information is available at this time.
