Dec. 22 update: Hawai’i Island police report that 17-year-old Kaila Harris, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located in Puna on Dec. 22 in good health.

Original post: Hawaiʻi Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 17-year-old Kaila Harris of Kea‘au, who was reported as a runaway. She was last seen at 8 a.m. on Dec. 15 in Hilo.
 
Harris is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes, and nose piercing.
 
Police ask anyone who may have information about Harris’ whereabouts to please call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Shawn Mirafuentes of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
