Repairs begin on Leilani Street entrance gate at Hilo Transfer Station

Repair work on the Leilani Street entrance gate at the Hilo Transfer Station began today.

According to the Hawai‘i County Department of Environmental Management, the road remains open and no closures or delays are anticipated as work progresses throughout the week.

The public is advised to exercise caution when approaching the work area.
