Hawai’i police seek missing Puna man Mark Diaz

Hawai’i Island police are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Mark A. Diaz, who was reported as missing.

Diaz was last seen on July 27 at his last known residence in the Volcano area.

He is described as being approximately 5-feet-11 inches tall, approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a tan complexion.

Police ask anyone with information on the location of Diaz to call the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311, attention Detective Zenas Pacheco.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers does not record calls or subscribe to any Caller ID service. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
