Update at 4:25 p.m. Nov. 17: Big Island police report that 17-year-old Aiden Bowers, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located Friday in Kea‘au in good health.

Original story from Nov. 15: Big Island police are asking the public for help with locating a missing Kea‘au 17-year-old.

Aiden Bowers, who was reported as a runaway, was last seen at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 in Hawaiian Paradise Park, wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and white and green Nike shoes.

He is 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, with curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who might have information about Bowers’ whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Trenton Aurello of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
