Big Island police seek help locating Hilo man missing since mid-August

The Hawai‘i Police Department is asking the public for its help to find a Hilo man who has been missing since last month.

Police report that 62-year-old Elroy Pacheco was last seen Aug. 16 in the Hilo area. He is known to frequent Clem Akina Park in Wainaku and the Clubhouse on Kīlauea Avenue. He is 5-foot-8, weighs about 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

No photo is available at this time.

Anyone who might have information about Pacheco’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
