Update: Big Island police say missing 13-year-old boy found in Hilo in good health

Update at 7:23 p.m.: Hawai’i Police Department said Wednesday 13–year-old Jason Abiley, previously reported as a runaway, has been located in good health in Hilo.

Original story published at 4:07 p.m.: Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with finding 13-year-old Jason Abiley, who was reported as a runaway Sept. 6 and is considered an endangered missing child because of his age.

Jason was last seen at about 8 p.m. Sept. 5 in the ʻĀinaloa Estates area. He is about 4-foot-9, weighs about 90 pounds and has a tan complexion, brown eyes and short black hair.

Anyone who has information about Jason’s whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
