Kailea Kekipi

Oct. 31 update: Thirteen-year-old Kailea Kekipi was located in Kurtistown in good health.

Original post: The Hawai’i Police Department is asking the public for help with locating 13-year-old Kailea Kekipi, who was last seen at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 11 on Awela Street in Hilo. She was initially reported as a runaway, but is considered endangered because of her age.

Kekipi is 5 feet tall, 95 pounds and has long black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black dress and beige shoes the last time she was seen.

Anyone who has information that can assist in helping safely locate her is asked to call 9-1-1 or contact police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
