Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with locating missing 16-year-old Kaila Harris, who was reported as a runaway.

Harris was last seen at about 11 p.m. Aug. 8 in Hawaiian Paradise Park area in Puna, wearing a white tank top and black shorts. She is as 5-foot-3, 140 pounds, with a tan complexion, shoulder-length curly black hair and brown eyes. She also has a mole above her right eyebrow.

Anyone who might have information about Harris’ whereabouts is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
