Community meeting on Aug. 9 to discuss Paʻauʻau Drainage Project

The Hawaiʻi County Department of Public Works will host a community meeting to discuss the Paʻauʻau Drainage Project on August 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. 

The meeting will be held at the Pāhala Community Center at 96-1149 Kamani St. in Pāhala.

This meeting will discuss the Paʻauʻau flood channels, encroachment issues and future assistance that may be provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
