Konawaena High School’s Class of 1973 recently celebrated a milestone 50-year reunion. 

Festivities were held June 23-24 at Sam Choy’s in Keauhou-Kona. Classmates and guests attended from across the Hawaiian Islands and continental U.S. Attendees enjoyed plenty of time to “talk story” and catch up on each other’s life journey since leaving Konawaena High School. 

Sam Choy’s general manager, Dominic Montavon, and staff provided food, service and a beautiful setting for the events.

Next reunion for the Class of 1973 will be held in Las Vegas in the fall of 2025.
