Hawai‘i Tourism Japan collaborated with Japan-based publishing company Gakken to release the comic and pictorial book, “Hawaiʻi’s Secret” (Japanese title: “Hawai‘i No Himitsu”).

The book’s comic section follows a family of four visiting the Big Island and O‘ahu and learning about responsible and regenerative tourism through participation in a Mālama Hawaiʻi tour.

The pictorial part of the book shares knowledge on Hawaiʻi’s natural world, geology and culture.
