Yes, somebody stole a camouflaged Humvee from Maui’s National Guard Armory
An armored Humvee was stolen overnight from the Maui National Guard Armory in Puʻunēnē on Maui.
The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle was stolen between 6 p.m. on Feb. 27 and 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 28, according to the Maui Police Department.
Police say the camouflaged vehicle was taken by an unknown individual or individuals who entered the property off of Maui Veterans Highway.
The vehicle is described as a M1165A1 type Humvee and has E-09 painted on the front bumper.
