Ryden Watson-Beck

Update: The Hawai‘i Police Department reports that Ryden Watson-Beck has been located. He was found Tuesday, Feb. 28, shortly after police issued an advisory seeking help with locating him. Ryden was located in good health in Mountain View.

Original story: Big Island police are asking for the public for help with locating an 11-year-old boy who was initially reported as a runaway but is considered endangered because of his age.

Ryden Watson-Beck was last seen at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, on Highway 11 near Mountain View Elementary School in Mountain View. He is described as 4 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white jacket with a black design, dark-colored pants, gray shoes and a green “Minecraft” backpack.

Anyone with information about Ryden’s whereabouts should call 9-1-1 immediately or contact police dispatch at 808-935-3311.
