Crews plan to install a battery backup for the traffic signal at an intersection in Keaʻau.

The traffic signal at the intersection of Highway 11 and Kipimana Street might be placed in flashing mode between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday as crews work. There will be law enforcement directing traffic at the intersection when the signal is in flashing mode.

Work is weather permitting.
