Police seek three suspects in Kona theft

Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with determining the identities of three suspects in a theft investigation in Kona.

The Hawai‘i Police Department reports that a theft occurred in the early morning of Nov. 26 at a business in the 75-900 block of Henry Street in Kailua-Kona. It was reported at 12:40 a.m. that three males in their late teens to early 20s removed several cases of alcohol from the store’s shelves, walked past the manned registers and left with the items without paying.

A store employee related that the suspects then got into a vehicle and left the parking lot, heading toward Henry Street.
