Original alert: Due to a vehicle crash, motorists are advised to avoid Kanoelehua Avenue between Lanikaula Street and Kawili Street in Hilo until about 9 p.m Sunday.
The Puna bound lanes (south) of Kanoelehua Avenue will be detoured down Lanikaula Street to Kilauea Avenue.
