The University of Hawai‘i at Hilo women’s soccer team has moved up in national rankings.

The women climbed two spots this week to No. 15 in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II Top 25 rankings. UH-Hilo made its debut in the Top 25 last week at No. 17.

The Vulcans remained at No. 2 in the West Region Poll, with Point Lomza Nazarene staying at the top.

Dallas Baptist University (5-0-1) remained atop the Division II Top 25 this week. Previously ranked No. 16 Minnesota State University-Mankato went 1-0-1 last week to drop to No. 18, while Mississippi College fell to No. 19 after going 1-1 with a loss to No. 13 Lee University.

The Vulcans played just one game last week, which ended in a scoreless tie against Hawai‘i Pacific in non-conference action. UH-Hilo is now 4-0-1 overall for the young 2022 season.
