Career Opportunities Ahead: County to Host Online Job Fairs

Do you have aspirations to become a firefighter or police officer? Do you want to work in the fields of parks and recreation? Hawaiʻi County might have opportunities for you.

The county Office of Housing and Community Development and Department of Human Resources are co-hosting two online job fairs Sept. 21-22 for anyone interested in working for the county. Participating departments will include the Hawaiʻi Fire Department, Hawaiʻi Police Department and the county Department of Parks and Recreation.

The American Job Center will also present information about services and resources offered through its employment-related programs.

The times, dates and registration information for each of the job fairs is as follows:

  • 3-4:30 p.m. Sept. 21. To register, click here.
