Update: Police reported Tuesday, Aug. 2, that 13-year-old Zaydie-Rain Andrade-Takahashi, who was previously reported as a runaway, was located Tuesday in Pāhoa in good health.

Original story: Hawaiʻi Island Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile female who was reported as a runaway, 13-year-old Zaydie-Rain Andrade-Takahashi.

Andrade-Takahashi was last seen in the Hawaiian Beaches area on Saturday, July 30. She is described as being 5-feet-9-inches tall, and weighing around 145-150 pounds with brown eyes, long black hair and a tan complexion.

She was last seen wearing an unknown colored spaghetti-styled top, light blue jean pants, and unknown colored shoes. She may be frequenting the Pāhoa, Kea’au, and Honoka’a areas.

Police ask anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Andrade-Takahashi to call the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Keanu Lum Won of Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
