Police Seek Missing Mountain View Teen

Big Island police are asking the public for help with finding a missing teen, who might be in need of medical assistance.

The Hawaiʻi Police Department says 14-year-old Bella Gaseta of Mountain View, who initially was reported as a runaway but now is considered to be endangered, was last seen at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, July 3, in the 11-2200 block of Aliʻi Wao Road, also known as Jungle King Avenue, in Fern Forest.

Gaseta was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, sweatpants and shoes. She is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair with red tips.

Anyone who might have information about her whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Shawn Mirafuentes with Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
