Updated Jan. 12, 2023: Big Island police located Ricky Ramirez in Puna on June 10, 2022 in good health.

Original report: Big Island police are asking for the public’s help with finding a missing teen.

The Hawaiʻi Police Department said Monday, June 13, that 15-year-old Ricky Ramirez was reported as a runaway. He was last seen June 9 in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area, wearing a black and white shirt, black pants, white shoes and a black and white backpack. He could be frequenting the Pāhoa and Kea‘au areas.

Ramirez is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with a tan complexion, brown afro-styled curly hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who might have information about his whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Taylor Cruz with Puna Patrol at 808-965-2716.
