Two Hilo robotics teams fare advancing to the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championship and are looking for support from the community to help them get there.

The Mechaneers Robotics 2718A and 2718Z middle school and elementary teams have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover their costs to travel to the competition in May, which will be hosted in Dallas.

“Both teams have worked extremely hard this season and are looking forward to representing the state of Hawai’i at the World Championships!” the online fundraiser says. “We appreciate your help!”
