Police Ask For Help With Finding Missing Hilo Man in Need of Medication

Big Island police are seeking assistance from the public to help find a Hilo man who is need of medication.

According to a media release from the Hawai‘i Police Department, 43-year-old Michael Kuahuia was last seen at about 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, at a business located off the 800 block of Ululani Street in Hilo.

Kuahuia is described as local, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 270 pounds, with dyed red shoulder-length curly hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to call the department’s nonemergency line at 808-935-3311.
