A change in traffic pattern is planned later this month for a portion of a Puna roadway.

The county Department of Water Supply announced in a news release that it will be working from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, on Keaʻau-Pāhoa Road (Highway 130) near the Kaloli Drive intersection to repave sections of the highway.

During the construction period, no left turns into or out of Kaloli Drive will be allowed. Police and message boards will be stationed to inform motorists.

The DWS advises motorists should expect delays and plan to use alternate routes such as Shower Drive or Paradise Drive.
