1,904 New Cases Reported Tuesday

The state Department of Health reported 1,904 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 206,837. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 142 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. The Civil Defense reports 5,468 active cases and 42 people hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 145,765
  • Hawaiʻi: 21,863
  • Maui: 24,317
  • Kaua‘i: 8,809
  • Moloka‘i: 831
  • Lana‘i: 479
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,773

A total of 7,144 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,146 have died.
