Action 4 Animals, the Big Island’s newest animal advocacy group, is hosting an adoption event from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at the Cooper Center. The organization’s adoption events give Big Island residents the opportunity to meet some cats and dogs who are longing for their forever homes.

Mask wearing and social distancing guidelines will be observed during the event. The Cooper Center is located at 19-4030 Wright Road.

Action 4 Animals is a collaborative group made up of experienced individuals from cat and dog rescue backgrounds. The group focuses on giving neglected animals a chance at a new life in loving homes by way of adoption events with local rescue groups, coordinating rescue flyouts to the mainland and providing veterinarian care when needed.
