3,875 New Cases Reported Monday

The state Department of Health reported 3,875 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 147,099. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 348 new infections were identified Monday on the Big Island. Hawaiʻi Civil Defense reports 3,533 active cases and 27 persons hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 104,574
  • Hawaiʻi: 16,099
  • Maui: 16,168
  • Kaua‘i: 5,447
  • Moloka‘i: 537
  • Lana‘i: 264
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 4,010

A total of 5,376 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,105 have died.
