Get ready for three festive evenings of dance, stories and performances by the Hilo Community Players during “Christmas Cabaret.”

HCP will present its annual holiday show in a drive-in format at 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Dec. 17-19 and a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium parking lot in Hilo.

The evening will feature holiday classics, festive dances, traditional stories and new favorites performed by many of Hilo’s biggest talents. Santa might even stop by.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. There also will be special holiday concessions available for purchase.

The parking lot will open one hour before showtime. Bring your chairs if you want to sit outside your vehicle and park in the side lot. Empty roof racks, and no tents or pop-ups will be allowed. Face masks will be required when you are outside your vehicle.

To ensure everyone can partake in the holiday cheer, trucks, vans and other large vehicles will not be parked in the center in the first three rows.

Restrooms will be available in the auditorium.
