Landslide Closes Lane on Big Island Bridge

UPDATE, 11 pm on Tuesday, March 9: All lanes are now open.
Hawai´i County on Tuesday night reported that one lane of Highway 19 is closed near mile marker 16 due to a landslide blocking the Hilo-bound lane.
The area in question is Hakalau Bridge. Motorists are advised to expect delays and asked to drive with caution.
