Kaupakuea Homestead Road in Pepe‘ekeo will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Monday and Tuesday, July 22 and 23, 2019, due to a soils investigation for the Makea Stream Bridge.

Work will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., weather permitting.

The soils investigation is being conducted for the temporary bridge and permanent bridge foundation design. The bridge located on Kaupakuea Homestead Road was damaged last year during Hurricane Lane.

During the scheduled work motorists are advised to drive with caution. Road signs will be posted and personnel will be directing traffic.
