No Tsunami Threat to Hawai‘i From 8.1-M Fiji Quake

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, 6 a.m. that an 8.1-magnitude earthquake has occurred in Fiji at 5:49 a.m.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reports there is no tsunami threat to the island of Hawai‘i.
