Police Search for Missing Hikers

The Hawai’i Police Department is searching for two missing hikers who were last seen on Stainback Highway, about five miles past North Kulani Road.

Authorities say the two men are Chad Aukai, 40, and Cory Aukai, 34.

Chad Aukai is described as 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, while Cory Aukai is descibed by authorities as 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds.

Information regarding when the pair went missing was not immediately disclosed.

Anyone with information should call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
